Kinematic effect of Chinese herbal fomentation on patients with chronic neck pain.
CONCLUSIONS:
Chinese herbal fomentation could improve abnormal mobility in terms of ROM and ICR. Chinese herbal fomentation might be an effective treatment for chronic neck pain.
Vertebroplasty compared with conservative method of integrated Chinese and Western Medicine in patients with osteoporotic vertebral compression fractures
CONCLUSION:
PVP has immediate pain relief and functional improvement compared with conservative treatment. PVP should be considered as the treatment of first choice for symptomatic osteoporotic vertebral fractures. However, for patients with VAS < 5, conservative method of integrated Chinese and Western Medicine may perform well.
Comparative study on Chinese medicine and western medicine for treatment of prolapse of lumbar intervertebral disc
CONCLUSION:
Combined TCM and western medicine treatment has rapid effects and definite therapeutic effect in alleviating pain, improving activity for acute lumbosacral pain induced by prolapse of lumbar intervertebral disc.
